The Dream Bride and Groom

I decided to write a blog post about this couple after I had the privilege to receive the wedding photo disk given to me by the bride, so here goes:

Burnie and Kristen are what we in the wedding floral business call “The Dream Bride & Groom”.

When I first met the couple, I immediately was drawn to them.  You could instantly tell that Kristen was energetic, full of life, and just plain fun.  Burnie just wanted his beautiful bride to have anything she wanted and you easily spot the love he had for her.  It was very apparent that this wonderful couple wanted a little something different.

Kristen wanted a flower combination that would contrast against her black and smokey gray bridesmaids gowns, but that would compliment the time of the year — late summer, early fall.  Together, we selected a beautiful collection of flowers in rich colors of reds, dark purples, and royal blues with just a pop of orange and lime green to break up the richness and give it a little brightness.

Kristen wanted a little something different to accentuate her beautiful form fitting gown and personality.  I custom designed for her a floral bracelet with hanging crystals, mini cymbidium and dendrobium orchids.
