Took a Drive Home, Did a Wedding
This past weekend, I had the privilege of providing flowers for a wedding that was located in my home town of Danville, VA. Renee and Marshall were the lucky couple in this fall vintage themed wedding where some of my friends and relatives were in attendance. It was a beautiful church ceremony at the Blessed Hope Church there in Danville.
The vintage themed wedding has been quite popular this season. With a combination of textured florals and greenery, lace, pearls, lanterns, mercury glass and candles, this vintage theme came to life. The color spectrum and mixed flowers against the biscotti colored Bridesmaids’ gowns really brought the targeted theme to the foreground. The dark burgundy Rubicon spray roses, along with the champagne quicksand roses and textured fillers such as babies breath, calcinia heather, blue thistle with green berries and seeded eucalyptus in combination produced a beautiful fall palette sans the traditional fall colors.
My sincere congratulations to Renee and Marshall on their wedding day. I had a chance to snap a few photos and I’ve included them just below. I hope you enjoy.
