A Rainy Morning Became Sunny just in Time for a White Wedding

The clock was ticking and clouds were still hovering overhead threatening a scheduled outdoor wedding.  We had the “quick move inside” backup plan in place as usual.  But on this day, there was a certain time that Saturday morning when all of a sudden, the clouds broke and bright sun began peeking out.  The drying effect began and the beginning of another gorgeous Bella Collina wedding began shaping up.  I love designing weddings.  Everyone knows that, but this past Saturday’s wedding was one that I was able to have so much fun with and proceeding as scheduled outdoors made everything fall right in place.

When I first met Kathy and Barry at Bella Collina, I knew they were going to be a very fun couple to work with.  After discussing their wedding vision, I easily meshed with the ideas the two had.  White, natural, organic, and elegant.  Our personalities immediately connected and I knew without going into extreme detail all the flowers we could use to give Kathy and Barry their  fairy-tale dream wedding.  Kathy knew I would take care of her completely.  She released me and allowed me to choose the flowers to give her that final vision.  Helping Kathy design the look of her wedding and assisting with the linens gave way to an amazing wedding day and some wonderful pictures.

Kathy’s beautiful white flowers included peonies, hydrangeas, ranunculus, parrot tulips, french tulips, white garden roses, escimo roses, juliette roses, snowflake spray roses, snapdragons, Queens Anne lace, mini callas, and white lizianthus.

Other professional vendors included Painted Plate Catering, Anything Music DJ,  Rev.Jac Grimes Of All Faiths Weddings Officiants, Misty Felde Photography, Hayzens Productions, Cakes By Manfred and we do not want to forget the great bartenders Matt and Amanda Gates.  And also, what would we do without the excellent rentals (tablecloths, napkins, chairs, etc) provided by Happy Rentz in Greensboro.
