The First of Two – Busy Weekend at Bella Collina
Threatening clouds were lurking overhead, but .....
IT’S JUNE ….. For us, the actual middle of our very busy wedding season and this past weekend was no exception.
With two weddings back to back, we were continually watching the ever changing forecast to see if we would quickly have to move a planned outdoor wedding indoors. High humidities were causing thunderstorms to pop up at a moment’s notice but fortunately, both weddings went off as scheduled and both couples were able to say “I Do” against a beautiful lakeside background at the amazing Bella Collina Mansion in Stokesdale, NC.
Arina and Chad were a fun couple to work with. I only met them a short while ago, but I instantly knew how to handle the vision they had for their wedding. Organic elegance with a slight vintage feel using parasols, vintage windows, and gold mercury glass with a choice of colors and flowers, their goal was readily achieved.
Arina and Chad’s beautiful floral combinations included white and green hydrangeas, cream escimo roses, pink and white majolica spray roses, pink sophy roses, shades of coral/peach with sexy pink geraldine, engagement and osiana roses all accented with stock and button mums.
Other complementing vendors for their wedding were ALS Photography, Culinary Visions, BakemeHappy Bakery, Hayzens Productions Videography, linens and rentals by Happy Rentz, the Reverend Jac Grimes (Triad Wedding Officiant), and of course the amazing staff at Bella Collina. A hearty congratulations go out to Arina and Chad. We’re so honored that you allowed us to be a part of your amazing wedding day. We hope you enjoy the pics below.
