The Softness of Succulents

WE HAVE SEEN . . . a growing trend this year of brides wanting to include succulents in their floral combinations. As more of an organic element, a number of brides have chosen to include them in a rustic combination; not Cassie and Brian.

From the moment I met this couple I knew they wanted an elegant and romantic wedding and together we created a beautiful floral combination that included succulents in shades of greys, greyish lavender and pink; a perfect blend to Cassie and Brian’s color pallette.

Their flowers included white and green Hydrangeas, little silver and pink Majolica spray roses, Escimo roses, Sophy roses, Ocean Song roses, with touches of purple statice, light lilac Stock with Seeded and Silver Dollar Eucalyptus. This was the perfect color and floral combination to accent Cassie’s beautiful solid satin ballgown.

After the wedding was over, the gorgeous wedding side piece arrangements were moved to the mansion front doors for protection by the lions.
