Late September Bella Weekend Weddings
Late summer weddings are some of my favorites due to the bright and vibrant colors that some flowers produce. This past weekend was busy at the Bella Collina Mansion with two weddings back to back featuring those bright vibrant colors. Our first couple was Rachel and Lawrence who wanted more of a traditional elegant look featuring all roses. “Red”, being the Bride’s favorite was featured with a touch of crystal placed strategically throughout her two dozen rose bouquet. Her bridesmaids, wearing deep red gowns carried all white rose bouquets.
Our second wedding had a variety of bright vibrant tones featuring fuscia stock, royal blue delphinium, coral roses and spray roses topped off with purple statice and green berries. Crystal and Adam desired to have a more loose and relaxed organic feel. With it being the second day of fall, our Bride wanted a touch of a fall feel with very non-traditional colors. These created a beautiful contrast to the deep plum gowns attire. I also had the privilege of designing a beautiful floral chandelier for the arch purgola, a piece that gathered many complements from her guests.
With both weddings, we achieved a Bride’s trust in allowing us to design a beautiful bright color palette of late summer and early fall florals for the picture perfect weddings at Bella Collina. After viewing the included pictures below, we hope you’ll agree. Oops, almost forgot to mention our wedding cakes. The first wedding cake was supplied by BakeMeHappy.net of Madison, and the latter by Delicious-Cakes.com in Greensboro.

Steven is so amazing to work with! From the minute I met him, I knew he would do a beautiful job. I wanted a colorful wedding and he definitely delivered just that! He also designed a beautiful floral arrangement for a chandelier that I had hanging from a pergola.
Everything was absolutely beautiful and he did a wonderful job.
Thank you Steven!
