Love was in the Air
Someone ordered this weather . . . ?
IT’S RAINING SUNSHINE ….. and someone ordered the weather. A perfect afternoon for an outside wedding with gorgeous lakeside panoramic views at Bella Collina. Picture it . . . A beautiful lake background with a nervous, yet stunning Bride descending the Bella Collina back staircase. Slightly cooler temperatures with a soft gentle breeze emanating from the lake made for a perfect bridal setting.
I had met with Kim and Shawn a short time ago and found out that her bridesmaid attendants would be wearing horizon blue gowns. So I went out on a limb and suggested to Kim rich dark jewel tones that would accent this regal color. Colors that are perfect for anytime of the year. Purples, hot pinks, fuscias and deep reds with lime green all complementing each other extremely well. Kim and Shawn both thought that this was a fantastic idea and we thus proceeded forward with developing a color theme.
Kim wanted everything to be perfect and was extremely nervous the morning of her wedding. When I arrived at Bella Collina, I could sense that she was anxious and a little overwhelmed with the process. I took her aside and gave her assurance that everything would fall into place as scheduled. No worries. This is what we are here for. Taking care of our Brides is what we do at Always & Forever Florist. Working alongside a fantastic team at Bella Collina, we continue to produce flawless and gorgeous weddings week to week. Other vendors at Kim’s wedding were Misty Felde Photography, One Love Productions, I Do Style, and Culinary Visions.
Here’s a list of the jewel-tone flowers used for Kim’s wedding theme. Forever young and hot lady pink roses, Rubicon and lovely Lydia spray roses, purple statice with fuscia and blue and green hydrangeas, blue delphinium and Earl Grey roses.
